More about our training

Most people reading this right now have hit some type of snag in their relationship with their dog.

We can help you to excel through your challenges with your dog. We rebuild your families and your dogs foundation through healthy expectations, trust and partnership.

Our foundation is in canine behavior. From the moment your dog comes to us for training we are working with them on their level. We address manners in the home, yard and communities. We give your dog the expectation of staying on their feet, using their voice appropriately, going potty where they are supposed to and being calm in a kennel for rest.

All of our canine friends are trained in obedience and will know how to sit, lay down, wait, come and leave it at the end of our time together. Speaking of our time together, the average time length for the Canine Good Citizens board and training is 10-14 days.

Our trainer is a Licensed Canine Good Citizens evaluator, so they will work with your dog in every aspect from behavior and training to grooming behavior expectations and confidence building.

We do not service task train at Rocky Mountain Leos, but we do train and guide for behavior proofing for service work with dogs that have passed the canine good citizens test. Your dog will be eligible for registered titles in behavior to prove they are stable and capable of doing service work with you. We take service dogs very seriously at Rocky Mountain Leos and we need anyone considering this route to be prepared to work with their dog very consistently after training for the best results in their dogs abilities. Of course, that is true of any canine training program.

We would love to hear from you if you would be interested in one of our programs!
